Neuro-psych. eval. went "alright". The day consisted of many tasks for me to do. If you've ever watched the episode from ER where Dr. Greene is being evaluated for his comptetancy as a doctor, that's basically the jist of it...asked to remember words from list A, but not list B and list C but not list B, then I had to name as many objects that began with a certain letter, then I memorized patterns and patterns and was asked to recall those patterns by drawing them. Then I had to make patterns with blocks, then categorized deck of cards into 4 piles, then placed tiny pegs into their respective holes with right hand then left hand, solved math story problems without pencil or paper, added numbers in particular patterns, answered dumb questions in a profoundly idiotic way (wish I could take it again!) and then filled out long personality questionaire. I feel sad.

According to Jae, someone's "heard" my rant about sidewalk shoveling. All of a sudden, every single house, except one, has shoveled their sidewalk. Perhaps a complete coincidence. I'm hoping school will be cancelled due to the cold weather, but that kind of sounds whimpy. What do all those children in Wisconsin do when it becomes below zero? Do they miss half the school year? That would explain much. Ouch! Just kidding. I love Lake Geneva. =)

Anyways, I've become a big fan of shoveling. It's my sneaky way of getting a semi-decent workout with the possibility of pulling a back muscle badly enough to keep me out of commission for a month. Ahhh, lovely days claiming the couch. It also keeps the kids entertained. "Look! Mommy's sliding!"

Ellie's starting piano lessons in Feb. We are all a bit nervous, especially after she commented that she may get tired after 3 minutes of practicing. Well, it is every Korean child's dream to take piano lessons to confirm the notion that parents are "out to get them".
