Ellie said, "I'm a princess!" a couple of days ago. I shook my head.
Ellie said, "I'm a ballerina!" yesterday. I shook my head.
We were watching Olympic skating last night then Ellie started to imitate the skaters...jumping, twirling, making dramatic faces, singing.
How ironic would it be if Ellie became an ice skater? For those of you who don't see the irony, let me mention that Ellie's father does not believe ice skating is a "real" sport...whatever that means.

not unless you toss in helmets, body padding, sticks, a lot of fighting, missing teeth and the occasional shattered plexiglass - then ice skating becomes a "real" sport...he he...
